Looking for something that your child can relax in?  While there are all kinds of chairs and stools around, these usually aren’t that comfortable.  A better choice is to get a kids sphere chair.  The reasons for this are simple:  Kids play hard, and when it is time to sit back and take a rest, they need something they can truly relax into.  Sphere chairs are designed to support the head, neck, and back, which means your muscles can take a break.  The type of chair that you get will depend on a few things:  the child’s age, gender, weight, and interests.

The smallest sphere chairs are only big enough to hold very little kids, so if yours is about 4 years old or older, you might want to consider getting them a bigger one.  Sizes are different for many models, so make sure you check out how big it is before you buy.

Sphere Chairs for Boys

Sphere chairs for boys come in two types:  Those that have cool designs of cartoon characters and movies on them, and solid colored sphere chairs.  For the younger boys, beginning at age 2 or so, you can get them a little saucer chair, which is the same thing as a sphere chair.  Choose from popular characters like Diego (Dora’s friend), Disney Cars, WWE Wrestling, or the Pirates moon chair.  The little guys will enjoy the pictures, and these chairs are pretty small, so even if they climb around on them and fall off, they are still only inches off the ground.

For boys that are too old for small sphere chairs, you can get them an inexpensive solid-colored one.  Boys of this age tend to like brighter colors, so you might want to think about getting him a blue, or green chair instead of a brown sphere chair or something like that.

Sphere Chairs for Girls

The chairs that are made for girls are pretty much the same as the ones for boys, but the designs on them are different.  There are some great Disney saucer chairs that are very popular, such as the Disney Fairies saucer chair or the Disney Princess Saucer chair.  Other great ones for girls are the Dora saucer chair and the Bratz moon chair.  As for older girls and teenagers, the color that you choose will depend on their preferences.  Some girls would love a pink sphere chair, but others would rather have a darker color, perhaps a black sphere chair.
