When most people are shopping for living room furniture, they often overlook one of the most comfortable things:  sphere chairs.  Yep, that’s right, sphere chairs.  You might be thinking of that funny round chair you saw someone sitting on during your camping trip.  While the outdoor ones might not be the best looking, the reality is that there are some great looking models that are designed for indoor use.

You might be wondering how you should decide which color and style to choose.  For the most part, sphere chairs that you are going to have in your living room should be a solid color.  The color that you choose will depend on the surroundings.  Many people have black or white sofas, and in this case a black sphere chair would match the décor pretty well.  A red sphere chair would contrast nicely as well, adding some color to the room.  Although you might be tempted to buy something like a pink sphere chair, only do so if you think that bright color will match the other furniture.  Having said that, if you are buying one of these for your bedroom or den, you can pretty much choose any color that you want, since guests will rarely see them anyway.

Many people choose these chairs because they think they are cheap. The reality is that the cheap sphere chairs are great for outdoor use, but if you really want something that looks great and is comfortable, you are going to have to spend a little more money.  An inexpensive folding sphere chair that costs around $40 is easy to find, and this type will just work fine.  If you are willing to part with $100 or so though, you can get a truly fantastic one that you will truly melt into.
